Third Mumbai

Panvel is on the brink of a transformative journey as the state government unveils plans for the ‘Third Mumbai,’ a new city geared towards providing enhanced housing, infrastructure, and robust transport facilities in response to the burgeoning population of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR). Anchored around the upcoming Navi Mumbai International Airport, this ambitious project is set to be seamlessly connected to Mumbai through the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri-Nhava Sheva Atal Setu, also known as the Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL). MTHL will be opened by PM Modi on Jan 12 2024:

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) has recently given the green light to this visionary proposal, marking a significant step towards reshaping the far ends of MMR. The New Town Development Authority (NTDA) has been established to oversee this transformation, encompassing areas such as Ulwe, Pen, Panvel, Uran, Karjat, and the surrounding regions, covering an extensive 323 sq.kms.

Anant Serene Park in Panvel, emerges as a key player in this exciting development, offering an array of housing options including 1 BHK in panvel and 2 BHK in Panvel. With the city poised to host a variety of offerings, ranging from luxury and affordable residences to commercial complexes, data centers, MNC hubs, financial institutions, and expansive knowledge parks, Anant Serene Park positions itself as an integral part of the envisioned ‘Third Mumbai.’

A government official emphasized, “We are calling it the Third Mumbai, which will have all the necessary infrastructure that a well-developed city should have. From residential (luxury and affordable) to commercial complexes, data centers, hubs for MNCs and banks, and financial companies to large knowledge parks; it will have everything. A robust public transportation shall also be developed there.”

In a bid to boost economic activity and contribute to the country’s GDP, the government is also planning to develop a second BKC in Kharghar, with approximately 150 hectares of land earmarked for creating a dynamic commercial hub attracting both Indian and international companies.

The MMRDA and NITI Aayog are collaboratively working on a comprehensive economic masterplan for MMR, aiming to elevate Mumbai’s gross domestic product from $140 billion to $300 billion by 2030. The proposed ‘Third Mumbai’ is integral to this vision, with both the MTHL and Navi Mumbai International Airport expected to contribute significantly, boosting India’s GDP by 1 percentage point.

As part of the broader development plan, a new Panvel-Karjat suburban rail corridor is underway, envisioned to enhance regional connectivity and reduce congestion. This project, costing ₹812 crore, is expected to be completed by December 2025, featuring three tunnels, two rail flyovers, and connecting five crucial railway stations, including Panvel and Karjat.

Anant Serene Park aligns perfectly with this forward-thinking vision for Panvel, offering luxury homes in Panvel with prime location. Amidst the city’s evolution, this residential project stands as a testament to the commitment to quality living and a prosperous future. As the ‘Third Mumbai’ unfolds, Anant Serene Park invites you to explore 1 BHK in Panvel and 2 BHK in Panvel in this transformative journey, where luxury meets innovation in the heart of Panvel – the best project in Panvel making.
